I don’t live in Portland. Are you able to travel to me?
Yes! I can come to you if travel expenses are reimbursed.
Can you hold this date?
Once the contract is signed and 50% retainer is paid, your booking date is firmly secured. We can do this in person or digitally. I accept Venmo, ACH bank transfers, SquareCash, Paypal, credit card, and check.
Do you have group rates for corporate headshots?

Do you shoot boudoir portraits?
Yes, I have shot quite a number of boudoir portrait sessions but do not post this on my site. Please get in touch if you're interested in booking a session.
Do you sell prints of your landscape photos?
Coming soon! Contact me about which photo you are interested in.
Have you shot weddings?
I shoot weddings on a limited basis. If you are getting eloped or having a City Hall wedding, contact me for a custom quote.
What if I am not photogenic or don’t know how to pose?
Clients often share this concern with me, but rest assured that it won’t be a problem. I will direct you and make it my priority to put you at ease. All you need to do is show up. I do recommend practicing looks in front of a mirror beforehand to get awareness of how different facial expressions feel and look.
What should I wear to the shoot?
I will send you a style guide prior to the photo session which offers guidance of how to style yourself to achieve the timeless look of my portraits.
Do you provide clothing?
At this time, I do not provide clothing but will advise you on what to wear to create the most beautiful photos.
Will you photoshop me?
I believe in honesty in photos, so as much as possible. I generally do minimal photoshopping of portraits (unless there happens to be a massive red zit on your nose!) unless we have discussed it. Otherwise, I want your portraits to look like you, so this is not something I commonly offer. Beyond the camera, I believe in using makeup and lighting to get what we want rather than relying on photoshopping.
Do the packages include a makeup artist?
The packages do not include a makeup artist. I have preferred makeup artists who I can recommend. A full face of makeup costs $100, and she can be available for touch ups for $50/hr.

How long have you been a photographer?
Photography has been a passion of mine for much of my life. I became more serious about photography in 2009 and started selectively taking client work since 2010.
What equipment do you use?
My favorite setup is shooting with a Sony A7ii with Voigtlander 40mm 1.4f.
Questions about deliverables
When will I see the photos?
For classic portrait sessions and adventure portrait sessions, it's about a 2-3 week turnaround time before you get your proofing gallery. For engagement and anniversary sessions, it's about a 3 week turnaround for the proofing gallery. For weddings, it'll take 5-6 weeks to process your photos. I also offer a rush service for an additional fee.
How will I receive my photos?
You will receive a link to a personalized online gallery with the professionally edited high resolution images. Prints can be ordered via the gallery through a approved, professional-grade lab.
May I have the raw unedited files?
Raw, unedited photos are not available for viewing or purchase. Some of the photos taken will be duplicates, blinking, or test shots -- let me spend my time weeding those out so that you can enjoy the photos without having to wade through all of that. The photos selected for editing and final delivery are reflective of the high standard I set for the finished product that I deliver to you.
Can I get more photos than stated in your packages?
Additional photos are available for purchase.
